Cadence Theatre Company and KdentsTV Present the Second Annual KdentsTV Horror Film Festival and Contest
Like scary movies!? More importantly, do you like to make scary movies? If so, KdentsTV wants to see them! Submit your short horror film for a chance to win cool prizes (like a GoPro!). With Halloween around the corner, October is the perfect time for you to make that scary short film you’ve been thinking about!
Rules for Submission

1) The film should 3-6 minutes long (credits included).
2) Your film MUST include ONE of the following:
-A jump scare
-A supernatural presence
-A scream3) Of course, we want your film to scare us, but please, keep the content PG-13. No excessive profanity or violence.
Be creative! Use the above rules as a jumping off point for your horror film. The best scary movies have strong, relatable main characters that your viewer can root for, and spooky villains that give us goosebumps and keep us awake at night.
AWARDS and PRIZES:
1st Place Prize: Your choice of a GoPro Camera or $150 Visa gift card, a copy of Whisper Down the Lane, by author and filmmaker Clay McLeod Chapman, and your film will be uploaded to the KdentsTV YouTube Channel.
2nd Place Prize: Your choice of the Studio Monitor Headphones or a $100 Visa gift card, a copy of Whisper Down the Lane, by author and filmmaker Clay McLeod Chapman, and your film will be uploaded to the KdentsTV YouTube Channel.
3rd Place Prize: Your choice of the Mehron Makeup Special FX Kit or a $50 VISA gift card, a copy of Whisper Down the Lane, by author and filmmaker Clay McLeod Chapman, and your film will be uploaded to the KdentsTV YouTube Channel.
4th Place Prize: Your choice of a Portable Fog Machine with LED Lights or a $25 VISA gift card, a copy of Whisper Down the Lane, by author and filmmaker Clay McLeod Chapman, and your film will be uploaded to the KdentsTV YouTube Channel.
All submissions will be part of a virtual festival October 29-31, 2021. Winners will be announced Halloween after sundown! Bring your popcorn!

How to Submit
— Send your movie to kdentsTV@gmail.com. Be sure to put the title of your movie and your name in the movie title file.
— Submission is FREE! But please submit only one film per filmmaker or filmmaking team.
— You must be 18 years old or younger to submit.
