Cadence Theatre Company in partnership with Barksdale’s Theatre Gym is pleased to present the award-winning comedy, August: Osage County, by Tracy Letts February 16—March 10, 2012 (previews February 16).

One of the most bracing and critically acclaimed plays in recent Broadway history, August: Osage County is a portrait of the dysfunctional American family at its finest— and absolute worst. When the patriarch disappears one night, the family reunites and long-held secrets are unflinchingly and uproariously revealed.

Letts’ August: Osage County was the recipient for the 2008 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for Best Play. This Broadway hit also won the Outer Critics’ Circle, Drama Desk and Drama Critics’ Circle Awards. Reviewers said:
